Caidhain and his mum Natalie are taking on the Moy Park Belfast City 5k Fun Run for Cancer Focus NI
14 November 2024
The countdown is on for the Moy Park Belfast City 5K Fun Run this Sunday, and someone who is definitely on Santa’s nice list, is Caidhain.
Caidhain McGrath and his mum Natalie have been training hard over the past few months, including plenty of park runs to take part in the festive 5K, fundraising a fantastic £855 to support Cancer Focus NI. This amazing total will provide over 14 hours of family support for children and their families when someone close to them has been diagnosed with cancer.
Caidhain loves sports but isn’t the biggest fan of running. When he is finding the training runs tough, he focuses on the important reason he decided to take part, and his hard work is truly paying off.
Caidhain said: “I am really excited to see everyone in their costumes and dressed up at the fun run. My dad and brother will be cheering me and my mum on along the way, and I am so happy to complete the run for Cancer Focus NI and to help support local families that are impacted by cancer.”
Get in the spirit of the season, and if you are taking part in the Moy Park Belfast City 5K Fun Run, why not run, walk or jog for Cancer Focus NI, just like Caidhain.
