Why are you participating in the new Almac Belfast City Women’s 10k on Sunday 18th June? Lovely to see an All Women Event. And summer is a great time for 10ks
Are you a member of a running club? - Maguiresbridge Running Club
Do you intend on participating with one of our female pacers? - Yes. A great way to test the boundaries
Are you attending the event with anyone? Family, friends, colleagues or running club?Attending with family as my daughter and her boyfriend live in Belfast. And I get to see my beautiful granddaughter so it win win for me
Are you competing in the event for a charity? Would you consider choosing Cancer Focus NI? My usual charity is Cardic Risk in the Young which I have raised a lot for. But not for a 10K.
Would any of your family, friends or colleagues like to volunteer at the event? Don’t have anyone to offer to volunteer.
Who will be your biggest cheerleaders on the day? My biggest cheerleader will be my little granddaughter Emily 🥰
If others were thinking of registering for the event but unsure, what advice would you give them? Anyone who has ever put on a pair of runners has taken the first step to becoming a runner. So come along. You can do it.
